Chamber of Leather Industry was established under Presidential Decree Law No. 453 of 1958 and the Ministerial Decree No. 170 of 1958 to renovate the rooms, as amended by the Ministerial Decree No. 101 of 1967

This set has the presidential decree and ministerial resolutions focus of the jurisdiction of the room as follows

1Arise chambers of industry to the industries in which shall be determined by a decision of the Minister of Industry and these rooms are public institutions.
2. Room means the common interests of its members and represent them to the public authorities also helps ensure that the authorities work on the development and advancement of Egyptian industry and reduce the cost of production.
3. Each manufacturing facility capital is not less than five thousand pounds, or works at least 25 workers to join the membership of the room.
